If Essence isn’t your favorite makeup brand by now, then we need to have a serious talking! 🙂 I first posted about the Essence sheer & shine lipstick in October on my Instagram feed as I had received one of the lipsticks (04 Hidden Secret) in a goodie bag and since then everyone was interested to know about this new Essence lipstick!
I unfortunately struggle with dry and chapped lips the whole year through so to find a lipstick that can keep your lips as hydrated as a lip balm does is nearly impossible! What I love about the Essence sheer & shine lipsticks is that it’s in between a lipstick and a lip balm – let’s call it a tinted lip balm!
The packaging is really cute in a way that the translucent cap is the same color as the lipstick so it’s really easy to search for and pick a color! Also it’s called sheer & shine because it’s not as pigmented as it looks. You might pick a color and think that it will be too dark but then you’ll notice that it’s a lot more sheer than you expected.
