Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how adorably cute these itsy-bitsy Essence Blush Balls are?! These are the new blushes that just got added to the Essence family and I’ve got all the info on them 🙂
I follow quite a few German beauty bloggers on social media so I always see all the new Essence products on their pages first. (For those of you that don’t know, Essence Cosmetics is a German makeup brand). The moment I saw the Essence blush balls I knew straight away it would be a winning product and I was so thrilled to see its finally available in South Africa!
The dome shape together with its practical packaging makes it super easy to apply for when you’re on the go. My favorite part about the blush ball is that you don’t need any tools to apply this blush! Just glide it over your cheek and blend it in with your fingertips.
My only concern about these blush balls were that they might rub my foundation and powder off and leave patchy areas but due to its baked texture they were so smooth and soft so my skin was left flawless. The plastic caps were a bit brittle too so they do break after some time.
They come in 3 shades but only 2 are available in South Africa. Just between you and me – I think the 2 best ones are available to us. They are Cinnamon Candy which is a lovely champagne-bronze shade which gives your face a wonderful warm tone and there’s Peach Candy which is a cool dusty pink and does a great job at highlighting too. These retail for R57.95.
