Cosmetix Pamper Party

Ladies, if there’s one guest list you want to be on, it’s definitely the annual Cosmetix Pamper Party! The event is hosted to thank loyal media supporters of the Essence, CATRICE and Caribbean Tan brands as well as to present new trends and products for the upcoming season. It was a day filled with spoils, getting pampered from head to toe and bubbly!

The event was held at Yemaya Spa and Hair in Sea Point, I’ve never been to this salon before but I must say what a beautiful salon it is – definitely going there again! On arrival I was presented with an empty goodie bag (you’ll find out why), refreshments that looked even too pretty to drink and beauty therapists eagerly waiting to do my mani/pedi with the finest CATRICE nail polishes.

Once done with my mani I then went upstairs for my professional full body spray tan which was done by ProGlow Caribbean Tan. Again, super impressed by this safe, fast and bronzed tan I got in just 5 minutes (Follow @ProGlowSA on Instagram to find out more). After my tan was done I could return back to the Pamper Party beautifully bronzed and ready to mingle with other beauty fanatics.

Some of the yummy treats that were served were baby carrots in humus, milk tart spring rolls (is this even a thing? Yes it is and its AMAZING!) the cutest cupcakes in all the land, pink lemonade and popcorn in just about every flavor you can think of!

The reason why we received empty goodie bags was because we got to pick 2 beauty products of our choice from each brand as well as 1 fragrance from the Essence #mymessage range. The hardest part was picking ONLY 2 products! As difficult as it was, I’ve had my eye on a few things so I decided to grab them 🙂

It was truly an incredible Pamper Party and I can’t thank Cindy Nell and the Cosmetix girls enough for the blissful day. Till next year!
