If there’s one thing CATRICE always does well at, its keeping up with the trends. Of course it didn’t take long for them to jump on board and create an ultra-gorgeous rose gold makeup collection – CATRICE Lumination. Albeit limited edition, its beautiful nonetheless and I can only hope that CATRICE hears the cries of the beauty world and makes our favorite products, permanent products 🙂
The Lumination collection is by far one of my favorite collections next to their past released Kaviar Gauche collection – both which stem from latest fashion trends, because: CATRICE loves fashion! This limited edition range consists of 3 chrome eyeshadows, 2 lipsticks, a blush, a bronzer, a highlighter and 4 nail laquers.
From the moment I laid my eyes on this new range which was at the Cosmetix Pamper Party which I wrote about on this blog post, I knew I had to have it. I decided this time to only get the bronzer, highlighter and one of the lipsticks because I had so much of everything else and I knew those 3 items I’d use on a regular basis (which I do).
Both the bronzer and highlighter have just the perfect amount of rosy gold undertones. I’ve been using these nearly everyday and since it is summer, it adds to an already perfect bronzed skin tone. These marble baked pressed powders are great to be used for a bright daytime look or a glowing night time look .
Then I also got one of the lipsticks –I couldn’t have been more happy to find out that the “Radiant Rose” color lipstick was a perfect spot-on dupe for the Catrice Pure Brilliants Lip Balm in “Sparkle Sparkle Little Star” so if you didn’t make it in time to get your hands on this stunning limited edition Lumination lipstick then at least you can still get its dupe and you’d have pretty much the same thing 🙂
Besides the rose gold packaging being drop dead gorgeous, the actual products itself were amazing quality and I can only hope that CATRICE will at least consider releasing a similar and permanent bronzer and highlighter because those are awesome!
